As there are 80 ( 34% ) vacancies of LPG (ie 17 clear & 21+31+11=63 against higher grade vacancies of LPME, LPP & CCOR/ PCORs).
LPG Sanctioned Strength = 235
MOR = 218 VAC = 17+63= 80 (63 working against higher grade posts)
ie 34% vacancies.
Moreover in the current review nearly 40 posts are sanctioned (ie LPME 4, LPP-3, LPG-33)
LPG new SS = 268
MOR = 218
Vacancy = 80+4+3+33 = 120
ie 45% vacancies of LPG
Presently only 19 ALP/LPS have passed promotional course & eligible to be promoted as a LPG.
1) Shri Narayan Prabhakar, LPS
2) Shri G R Murthy, LPS
3) Shri DUM Rao, LPS
4) Shri H R Shankar, LPS
5) Shri V C Londhe, SrALP
6) Shri LVG Rao, SrALP
7) Shri K Muniratnam, SrALP
8) Shri K V Ramana, SrALP
9) Shri P Krishnaih, SrALP
10) Shri Botta Srinivas Rao, SrALP

19) Shri Lucanshu Vadiva, SrALP
Hence NRMU demands to promote these on hand trained ALPs against 45% vacancies ie 120 posts of LPG to avoid Goods trains detention.
And the shortage of ALPs may not be hurdle in their promotion, because these 19 may be utilized as a Co-LP also. Moreover as per CPTM sir, the new ALPs are coming on line in just 6 to 7 months.
Lastly it is requested that these 19 ALPs to be promoted as a LPG, as their award for co-operation to administration in crew crisis by working 345 Hrs/month, it will be inspiration to others.
